I Jah is the son of a musician / activist who participated in the introduction and dissemination of African culture and reggae music in the United States. In 2001, in the wake of the tragedy of September 11, Jah I Witness and several musicians have formed a hip-hop live called True Sound. The group captivates his audience by mixing the funky hip-hop, ghetto rock, reggae and soul. With I Jah, True Sound mixes the energy of rock'n'roll with the influence of the street and politically engaged lyrics. All this is complemented by soulful voice and participation of talented musicians.Â
Besides, Jah I Witness has toured extensively and shared the stage with legends such scenes as Busta Rhymes & Flipmode Squad, The Wailers, Sugar Hill Gang and Fishbone.
As a solo artist, Jah I Witness create a sound that takes color really stand out from the soup industry. Jah I Witness uses his microphone like a peinceau, and he paints experiences, emotions and moods. With his latest solo album, The Struggle, The Love, The Glory (The SLG), Jah I offer fans a collection of new songs in which part of many artists and composers worldwide.
